There are two core truths in critical role.

The first is that if you create a character or see yourself as unromancable Laura Bailey will take that as a challenge and romance you. Examples: Percy, Fjord(Travis) and Laudna

The second is that if you create a character that can fly you must romance Marisha Rays’s character. Examples: Vax, Yasha and Imogen.

Imogen not being able to hear Laudna’s thoughts is the best thing that ever happened to them.

Without that reliance on just knowing how Laudna feels, she has to be confident enough to ask.

To really acknowledge her feelings for Laudna and ask her how she feels in return, to have the courage to take that leap and hope Laudna truly feels the same way.

And she did!

And Imogen finally got to kiss her girl. Her incredible, wonderful, scary beautiful Laudna.

And Laudna kissed her back! Her beautifully capable Imogen.

Imogen finally spoke her heart and it allowed Laudna to speak hers. To share her heartbreak and her guilt and her worry. And the fear, that she needs Delilah to be strong enough for the coming days.
